“Beneath the Surface” uses layered indigos, violets, and shifting ocean tones to capture the octopus as both creature and metaphor — adaptive, observant, and quietly powerful.
Loose watercolour movement contrasts with moments of intricate detail, allowing the piece to feel fluid and alive, as though emerging directly from deep water.
This work speaks to intuition, transformation, and the complexity hidden beneath calm exteriors.
