“Emerging” is a paired work within the ongoing Field & Form series, exploring the relationship between presence and environment through companion paintings created in conversation with one another.

The Form piece centers on the peacock as a symbol of emergence, identity, and becoming, while the Field piece evokes the atmosphere surrounding that transformation: humid, layered, overgrown, and quietly luminous.

Rather than functioning as subject and background, the works are intended to exist as interconnected emotional spaces — each informing the other through shared movement, color, and atmosphere.

Together, the set explores emergence not simply as appearance, but as transformation.
