An original paired collection exploring immersion, movement, and emotional connection through both subject and environment.

“Tethered” was created as part of the evolving Field & Form series — a body of work built around the idea that landscape and subject can exist as interconnected emotional counterparts rather than separate paintings.

The Form piece centers on the seahorse itself: suspended, intricate, and alive with colour and texture.

The Field piece expands outward into the surrounding underwater world — drifting kelp forests, luminous currents, suspended light, and vibrant coral ecosystems filled with movement and atmosphere.

Together, the pair creates a cohesive visual world connected through colour, rhythm, and emotional resonance.

This original set is intended to be displayed together as a curated pairing, though each work also exists independently within the broader Field & Form collection.
