Part of the inaugural Field & Form pairing, Threshold – Field explores stillness, atmosphere, and emotional transition.
Moonlight diffuses across a quiet landscape of darkened shoreline, distant trees, and softened water, creating a sense of suspended time and quiet tension. Layers of indigo, violet, and muted magenta move through the sky and foreground, echoing the emotional palette of its companion piece, Threshold – Form.
Together, the pair explores the relationship between atmosphere and presence — one holding the field, the other the form within it.
Original watercolour on paper (9x12).
Prints are produced proportionally from the original artwork to preserve composition and detail.
