Waiting brings together two companion works from the Field & Form collection: one exploring presence, the other exploring place.

A Great Blue Heron holds its stillness — watchful, unhurried, sovereign in its patience. Across from it, a marsh opens wide: cattails and grasses edging a quiet lake, treeline hovering at the horizon, the whole scene suspended in that particular hush before something arrives or departs.

Together, the works ask the same quiet question: what does it mean to wait? To inhabit a moment fully, without rushing through it.
